I talked to him a few times about Excalibur and a game I was developing. Very, very nice guy. RIP

I once worked as a stage manager for Teatro Paraguas with Paul Geoffrey during a small production and realized shortly who he was, being a fan of the film 'Excalibur.' He was kind enough to visit with me backstage regularly during the run of the show and share stories of his career.

I just found out that Paul passed away and I am deeply saddened. Back in 2015 I rewatched a childhood favorite movie, Excalibur, and found myself studying the performances and thinking of the meaning behind it all more than simply watching it for the story as before. What I found was that Paul was really amazing in bringing the quiet and sincere goodness that Percival was meant to embody, being the only Knight of the Round Table worthy of achieving the holy grail. A very sad day for those of us left here on earth. A brief moment in the warmth of Paul's smile, the sunshine a greeting from him brought into one's heart. Always kind. My sincere condolences to his family, who know more than all the rest of us how much he will be missed.

As a fellow member of Group 12 of the Drama Center London, I am devastated to hear the sad news of Paul's passing. I have many memories of him, but the one in particular which has stayed with me to this very day and will do so for as long as I draw breath, is a most beautiful piece of music "Albinoni's adagio in g minor" .
