I recently found out about pauls passing i was so sorry to hear the news. Paul was my cousins step father. I met paul when i was in college. I enjoyed talking with paul over many occassions and visits out to devon pa over the yrs. Rest in peace paul.

It was the last week of classes at Villanova in 1964, I was a freshman and barely surviving Calculus with Prof Gormley. I had a week to study for the final in his class and went to his office to see if he could suggest how to prepare. At that point in time the derivative concepts just never made sense,like listening to jazz and not getting it.
