I remember Paul from Time Inc. when I went to the Time Book Review section. I use to collect books to donate to various charities. He was a very good person to talk to - and knew a lot.

I was so sad when I learned of Mr. Gray's death. We always had some very interesting talks. I hope I was able to ease his discomfort at least a little bit in his last couple of weeks. I looked forward to each of our visits. My prayers are with you Mrs. Gray.

Mrs. Gray--
You were THE BEST high school teacher I had at South (no debate whatsoever). Please stay strong and stay the golden teacher you have always been =)
I remember you bringing in his articles in class and they were always amazing and a writing goal to work towards. Thank you for your guidance and support and you and your family will be in my prayers.

I met Paul shortly after his family moved to Laurel in Jr. High School, We were roommates at Ole Miss as Freshman. We were farturnity brothers. Lost track after college only to be reunited by his sister Martha via internet after Katrina. Paul was very interested in the damage to his hometown and the old neighberhood. For his family, who I have never meet,Paul showed his leadership ability at an early age. I feel I have lost a good friend. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family.

I was saddened to read of Paul's death. He was a precious person. We were in the same class at Laurel. I had one date with him. We double dated and went to see "Giant" in Hattiesburg one night.
