Not sure what to say?

I can still hear Paul's beautiful voice singing All Good Gifts from Godpell during our many performances. I still get goosebumps thinking about it. Paul was so loved. Photo from Mame.

Has it been 9 years? Time flies by so fast and life has taught me to reflect on the things that made me the man I am today. Paul, you were one of the people who made me feel like I was included in things. For so long before I met you, I felt like an outsider. You were always true and sincere and truly put me on the path to greater things in my life. I miss that we lost touch after high school but the memories of you live on forever

Dedham Youth Players, Endicott Estate

I was just looking through my photo album and found a photo of Paul in a show that we did at the Endicott Estate in 1977. Not only was he a good soul but he was such a talented man as well. He was a good friend to all who knew him and had a heart of gold. You are missed, Paul. Rest well.

Me and My Buddy having fun!

Dear family, there is not a day that goes by that he isn't in my thoughts and prayers. I talk to him everyday. Words can't express how I miss him. I met Paul when I moved to houston in 2001. He was the first friend that I made there. I will never forget the first time that I set eyes on him. It was in the office which we both worked. He looked anoyed that he had to stop work and "show" me around. LOL! I thought right then "I will win this one over" Boy did I ! He became my best friend. I...

Paul was a dear friend for many years. I have so many special memories of him. Always there to offer a kind word, or to be a gentle listener, he loved people, and he was greatly loved in return. I will miss his laughter, and his sense of humor. My prayers are with the Heffernan family at this time of immearsurable loss. Paul loved his family, and shared so many stories with me of family times. He was a devoted son, brother, nephew, and uncle, and was happy to be returning to Boston to be...

I just heard that Paul passed away. I have been a friend of Paul for many years in Houston. I moved to Ohio 14 years ago, and was able to visit with Paul a few years ago. He was such a wonderful, kind, and intelligent man. I will never forget his beautiful smile and all the good times we shared. I am glad we was able to come back to his family.

Dear Donna and the Heffernan Family,
My prayers and deep sympathy for all of you. It's been many years but, I remember what a lovely family you are, and I know how nice Paul was. I know your loss is great, the Good Lord will lead you through the sorrow. God Bless you in the days ahead.
An old friend,

It was a pleasure to know Paul. He was always happy and he cared about everyone he spoke to. I consider myself bleesed to have met him. "Paul, thank you for always listening."

Paul was such a delightful person who loved to have fun. Whenever I had any problems in my apartment, he was always ready to help and smiled. He also remembered every conversation and kept others first. He is very much missed. May God keep you. Frances Fenton
