Today marks twelve years since Paul's passing and my husband, Bill, and I will lift our glasses and drink a toast to him tonight. He would be happy to know that we now have seven grandchildren and all are well and live close to us. Even though he lived far away, family always meant a great deal to Paul. It's hard to believe that eleven years have passed since Paul left us. I still think of him often as he was my only uncle and we had a good relationship. Although he lived far away geographically, family and old friends were always still near and dear to him. His life did have its ups and downs, but even as a born New Englander he loved living in Arizona and he was finally lucky to meet and marry, Eloise, the love of his life and they shared many wonderful years together. My regrets go the the whole Hembise family, especially Eloise, I worked with Paul at Motorola for many years in the Environmental Test Facility and found him to be a kind, gentle, soft spoken person and I am sure he will be missied by all who knew him...

Fond memories come to mind when I remember Paul, who was both my uncle and godfather. Although he lived most of his life in Arizona, his ties to New England always remained strong and he visited home often when I was a young girl. Memories of hikes in the woods and trips to Boston, which had to include lunch at Durgin Park, always make me smile.
