Paul Hoag Obituary
04/06/1942 - 07/28/2023
Paul Dean Hoag, 81, of Houston, Texas, passed away on July 28, 2023. Paul was born in Wichita, Kansas, on April 6, 1942, to Frances Lenora (Gilges) and Paul Biven Hoag.
Paul grew up in Joplin, Missouri and graduated from Joplin High School. He attended the University of Oklahoma and Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he earned a Master of Architecture. Paul married Linda Young on August 24, 1968, in Springfield, Missouri, and together they had two children, Ryan and Aron.
Paul began his architecture career with The Architects' Collaborative (TAC) in Boston, and after moving to Houston, formed PDH+Associates in 1982.
Paul was preceded in death by his Mother and Father. He is survived by his wife Linda, son Ryan and his wife Katherine, son Aron, grandchildren Annie, Maggie, and Bobby, his brother Gary and his wife Eva, and nephews Brandon and Jeffrey.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 10, 2023 at Forest Park Westheimer at 2:00pm.
