Not sure what to say?

To the LaBrecque Family,

It is so heartwarming to read all the remembrances from the Highland Avenue neighborhood!! We lived right next door to Boppa at 212 Highland Ave, and the Dohertys lived on the other side & the Pecks across the street. Boppa always provided popsicles to ALL the kids in the summer, but since I was the only girl in the group (until Katie grew up!) he would give me a fudgsicle!! I always knew when he saw me playing outside, becuz from wherever he was, I would hear...

Loved my girls .

We lived right around the corner on Brook Street but it was great in the summer I could run upstairs while watching the red sox and not miss a thing cause we could hear the game from Boppas screen house !!!! The best guy ever . Soooo good to all the neighborhood kids and the best neighbor ! He holds a special place in our hearts ❤

R.I.P Boppa.

To the LaBrecque family,
We are so sorry for your loss. Boppa was a true Wollaston original. Salt of the earth as they say. Quincy is less of a place without him. I can still hear the red sox games playing on the tv in the back yard on those summer nights. The way he would call for his cat to come in at night. I remember him riding his bike through the neighborhood whistling away. His infectious laugh and the ever present smile. Rest in peace Boppa.
Our deepest...

To the LaBrecque Family,

Growing up on Highland Ave was the best neighborhood, friends and families. No other street had a more kind, loving, generous neighbor than Boppa. Always offering a ride, ice cream, making sure you were taken care of. Happy cherished childhood memories will be in our hearts... thank you Boppa. Heaven just received another angel.
