I met Paul years ago through friends at Burgard High school. I had the pleasure of hunting on his property and just spending time with him. My condolences to his family.

Paul was a hunting and fishing buddy through our friendship that came as a result of our teaching together at Burgard VHS.I was invited to hunt on his property in Freedom ,N.Y. where I got a gray Fox. There were many experiences on his land with him . In his classroom Paul was no nonsense but certainly understanding of the problems experienced by students in High School. RIP Mr. Sanio. Not many teachers are memorable. You were one, and for all the right reasons. I enjoyed the lively discussions we had in your class and running into you at Sabres games after I graduated. We need more teachers like you!
