Paul was a hunting and fishing buddy through our friendship that came as a result of our teaching together at Burgard VHS.I was invited to hunt on his property in Freedom ,N.Y. where I got a gray Fox. There were many experiences on his land with him . In his classroom Paul was no nonsense but certainly understanding of the problems experienced by students in High School. Later in Life I got to meet Gerda and Amy in Alden. He was fun and fair no matter the situation. Everyone who had the opportunity to meet him found him entertaining and he always put a smile on my face . He use to spend time at my home. Paul grew up on Utica St. City of Tonawanda, NY. He was even a neighbor of my High School girlfriend. God made us life long friends. He even came to my surprise , 65th Birthday party. I will always remember him fondly. Save me a seat at God`s great table. I will miss you my friend.

RIP Mr. Sanio. Not many teachers are memorable. You were one, and for all the right reasons. I enjoyed the lively discussions we had in your class and running into you at Sabres games after I graduated. We need more teachers like you!
