I have just learned of Dr Sherman´s passing, although I have thought and talked about him many times over the years I never thought to look him up and thank him which I dearly regret. I am one of Dr. Sherman´s patients, I was only 17 years old when I suffered a gunshot wound in the leg one late night in June 1981, he saved my life, and my leg. He grafted my artery in my left leg with a vein from my right. I always felt I got very lucky that night to have gotten him as my surgeon and knew...

My deepest condolences are extended to you all. I am one of Dr. Sherman's former nurses. He was truly a sweet dear person. I know he will be sorely missed.

May God comfort your hearts in the days ahead. My prayers are with you in this difficult time.

I'm so sorry to hear the death of Dr. Sherman. As the Fire Marshal for the City of Winter Park, I had the pleasure to meet and work with him on several occassions. He will be surely missed. My deepest condolences go out to his family.

Please accept my sympathy for you and your family. You all are in my thoughts and prayers. Dr. Sherman was a wonderful man with a unique sense of humor. I was blessed to have known him. Let this poem be of comfort to you and your family during this time of need.
