I was one of P.T.'s pledge brothers. We lost track of each other over the years,but I have fond memories of many good times in the "old days." My memories are all positive. P. T. was a kind and gentle spirit, broad minded and fair, and he was blessed with a good sense of humor too. thinking about PT as we knew him. I was a pledge brother of his in Sigma Nu and I well remember one helluva, never to be forgotten, excursion to Lagunabeach CA during Spring Break in '52 or '53. Paul was a Bellingham High School and U. of Washington classmate. I had lost track of him over the years and was pleased to see that he had led such a creative and positive life.

My memory flashed to a specific moment.
It was in the early 1950s when we were attending the UW. I was walking on 45th Street when a Ford sedan pulled up to the curb in front of me. Paul emerged from the driver's seat. "I want you to see something," he said.
