I was one of P.T.'s pledge brothers. We lost track of each other over the years, but I have fond memories of many good times in the "old days." My memories are all positive. P. T. was a kind and gentle spirit, broad minded and fair, and he was blessed with a good sense of humor too. I am not suprised to hear about his later success as an architect, a painter, and a family man. He was sensitive and creative when I knew him too. My condolences to Charles (Noise)and to all the rest of the family.

thinking about PT as we knew him. I was a pledge brother of his in Sigma Nu and I well remember one helluva, never to be forgotten, excursion to Lagunabeach CA during Spring Break in '52 or '53. You may or may not have had this tale recounted for you. If not, email me for my phone # and I will relate it to you. MY most sincere condolences to his family. Bill Kotick, [email protected].

Paul was a Bellingham High School and U. of Washington classmate. I had lost track of him over the years and was pleased to see that he had led such a creative and positive life.
My memory flashed to a specific moment.
It was in the early 1950s when we were attending the UW. I was walking on 45th Street when a Ford sedan pulled up to the curb in front of me. Paul emerged from the driver's seat. "I want you to see something," he said.
He then showed me one of the first seat belts installed in an auto. "Got to have 'em," he told me, "They could save your life."
Paul was a good guy. Condolences to his family.
