I remember Paul who was always ethical and kind. I know he influenced Jessica's moral compas.

Paul's intellectual property course at Hastings College of Law in the '70s stimulated me to believe there was something other than a potential income in the practice of law. His enthusiasm and clarity made intellectual property a lifelong pleasure for me and resulted in a few referrals (to him, not to me) which avoided potential disaster for me and helped persuade some of my colleagues that I actually knew some things that others did not. At this time of deep sorrow and pain, may you be sustained by the hope that death will soon be a thing of the past. May your memories and the legacy Paul left behind, bring you comfort and keep him close in your hearts.

I always considered Pail to be the Grownup in our little law school "study group"". Over the years since, talking with Paul in a phone call was as comfortable as if we's had our laast conversatio a week before.. Paul, you will indeed be missed.

I am very sad to hear about this. I spoke to him the day before he passed. He was always gracious and helpful. Just a great guy. I will miss him. My condolences to his family.
