Not sure what to say?

Paul was a mentor and one of the finest men I've ever known! He will always be missed from our everyday lives but never forgotten. Mary Ann (Penny) Costello

Paul was one of the kindest and most understanding and helpful educators I have ever known. He mentored me and provided great insights. I treasure those talks and miss him dearly. On a personal level, he and Margie were like family.

I am saddened to learn of Paul's passing. We were friends throughout P.S. 68 and Kensington H.S. We reconnected through his work at SUNYAB. We enjoyed each other's presence at the last two Kensington H.S. reunions. He was a valued educator and a gentleman.

Dear Christopher and Family,
I was shocked and saddened to hear of your dad's passing. I'm glad I had the opportunity to know and work with him at WBS and the high school. He will be missed. Keeping you and your family in my prayers.

Aunt Marge and family, our deepest sympathy and thoughts are with you. I got to spend some time with Paul last year when he brought the Labor Secretary to UB. Paul will be missed!

Margie, our thought and prayers are with you and your family. Very sorry to hear this sad news.

RIP Mr. Wietig. I remember you not as a powerful administrator but as a good teacher who cared.

We are devastated about the passing of my cousin Paul Wietig . Paul had always been a role model, and worked hard at keeping the family together. Paul touched and help so many people in a positive manner. He will be truly missed by everyone who knew him. Please accept our condolences. God Bless Paul and his Family may he Rest in Peace. Amen !Sincerely ,Laurie and Louie Yeostros.

I always had the highest regard for Dr. Wietig's work at Amherst Central School District and was fortunate again to have his support when I was working on my Master's Degree at UB. His passion for education and thoughtfulness in all of his endeavors is his legacy. Prayers for his family and all who have been touched by his spirit.
