Paul was one of the kindest and most understanding and helpful educators I have ever known. He mentored me and provided great insights. I treasure those talks and miss him dearly. On a personal level, he and Margie were like family.

I am saddened to learn of Paul's passing. We were friends throughout P.S. 68 and Kensington H.S. We reconnected through his work at SUNYAB. We enjoyed each other's presence at the last two Kensington H.S. reunions. He was a valued educator and a gentleman.

RIP Mr. Wietig. I remember you not as a powerful administrator but as a good teacher who cared.

I always had the highest regard for Dr. Wietig's work at Amherst Central School District and was fortunate again to have his support when I was working on my Master's Degree at UB. His passion for education and thoughtfulness in all of his endeavors is his legacy. Prayers for his family and all who have been touched by his spirit.
