Am incredibly sad to hear of the passing of Memphis musical mensch and all round sweet man, Paul Williams, who it'd been a pleasure to know for 25 years... popping into Audiomania, which Paul closed down the other year, had always been one of my very favourite things on Earth to do - he'd be perched behind his desk and, smiling, would drawl "Oh, hi Joss", like he'd only seen me a couple of days beforehand, rather than (sometimes several) years previously.
