Not sure what to say?

It's been many years since your passing, coach and I still think of you often. You were an inspiration for me and many others as we grew up in Elizabetheh City and attended Northeastern High School. Thank you so much for caring about us, and teaching us integrity, honesty, and hard work ethics. You were a role model and a good man. We love you forever.

Please allow me to take a moment to express my deepest sympathy to all the Winslow family. Coach Winslow was a great person, athlete, mentor, and friend. He influenced the lives of many young people in such a positive way. He will be missed by all!
Sincerely,
Robert Poole, Jr.

What a great person and role model for so many. Troy and the rest of his family are in our prayers. Heaven got a great addition.

Simply put, "great man." Coach Winslow was a great influence, and touched the lives of so many athletes and students at Northeastern High School. His legacy will live on and he will never be forgotten by those of us who had the honor of meeting him. I would like to be the first to say that the city of Elizabeth City should honor him by naming the football stadium the after him. He is well deserving of such a prestigious honor. Coach Winslow will be sorely missed. I extend my heart felt...

Mrs. Winslow, your sons, your daughter-in-laws, and the entire Winslow Family. Coach Winslow impacted many persons he came in contact with and those he never met. The values he taught and lived by are being shared with a future generation. Prayfully, our desire to see a better and greater people will allow those values and the dedication of hard work to continue being pass to others; so that we will impact the future; just as Coach Winslow did for us.

May God enrichly bless...

It was an honor having you as my coach on Northeastern High School's Track Team back in the day. I will always remember your kindness and the life lessons you taught us all. May God be with you, Mrs. Winslow, and your family always.

For all the neck bridges, 6 inches, laps around the track, and talking with you in you driveway even after I was out of school. Coach I thank you. My path in life has your markers all over it... Mrs. Winslow and Boys my prayers are with you and God will bring us all home.
