Not sure what to say?

How sad I was to just learn of Paul´s passing. I have fond memories of sharing client matters with him when I was a partner at Sidley Austin in Washington DC and later briefing him on matters when I returned to Australia as Chief General Counsel of National Australia Bank. While always in awe of his intellect I will miss most his great sense of humour, a creative mind and just a thoroughly kind and wonderful man. Truly one of the greats.

Perhaps not my first memory, but a very early one was introducing Paul to our special needs grandchild, Julian, at a cello duet performance at our house in Sun Valley. Something about Julian's innocence and magic personality clicked with Paul. It was beautiful to see and it persisted over the following years.

On behalf of Pi Lambda Phi, please accept our sincere condolences on Paul´s passing. Clearly, from his obituary, he was also incredibly accomplished and will be missed by many. I've updated our records so that we will remember Paul again when our fraternity convenes for our annual gathering next...

Oh, dear Rhea, I am so very sorry for your loss. Paul was such a wonderful man who delighted in his life and his love for you. I remember, smiles, laughter, and good times with you and Paul. Our hearts go out to you and your family. May his memory be a blessing.

Rhea, your marriage to Paul was beautiful and loving and admired by all. Your smiles said it all. May his memory always be a blessing and all the good you shared comfort you now and forever. Love you, Carol and Barry

In loving memory of a wonderful person. We will love you and miss you always.

Rhea, please accept my sympathies on your loss of Paul. I know well how difficult it is to lose a spouse after being married for decades, but there are so many good memories for such a long time together. He had a great career and I wish I got to know him better. I do know he was always there for you.
