I still miss her, especially when I visit at Ridgeview. She was truly the spark of fun, companionship and sincere caring for all the folks there- residents and staff. The world needs more like her.

I first met Paula when she welcomed me and my family to St Francis Church in 1994. She was such a warm and caring person. We spent many years at basketball games at St Francis and later at Central. I hired Paula at Ridgeview and she touched more lives that will ever truly be known; from providing activities for our elders to changing sheets, cleaning floors and sitting with many who were dying so they wouldn´t be alone. She spent many hours, on her own time, offering compassion, empathy and...

Paula and I went to grade school together at St. Margaret's Elementary. In second grade, I took ill right before our First Holy Communion and was so disappointed to miss that very special event with my class. When I was better, Paula dressed up in her white communion dress and received "first" communion with me a few weeks later, with Father Gude presiding. I don't know who arranged it, but it was such a special memory always that she did that for me. That is the kind of person she was. ...

My dear cousin Paula Gracia mom called you. Always in my heart. I will cherish the good times and memories we had growing up. You were always the puzzle master. Family get togethers Christmas parties and just good ole visiting, picnics. I could go on and on. I will miss our conversations. And you were the best letter writer ever!
So glad we got to dance at Sherri and Jeffs wedding. It was the best.
My deepest sympathy to all of your family.

How fortunate we were to have Paula as a classmate at LaReine. Her leadership skills, care & compassion for others, her devotion to her family & her love for all were more than evident back then. The smart & accomplished Paula Grace that we knew in high school was just a snapshot of who she became once we graduated. A caregiver, wife, mother extraordinaire & champion of everything she was involved in, are just a few of her attributes.
She leaves her children & grandchildren with a legacy of...

The La Reine High School Class of 1975 will always remember our very capable class leader and classmate. The last time I spoke to Paula was 2014 or close to our class reunion 2015. A good conversation but instead of attending due to her husband's health, she sent her good wishes for our class reunion. To the Mitchell and Spilman families, I'm sorry for your loss. You have our deepest sympathy. Rest in peace Paula

Paula was truly the most selfless and caring person I have ever known. I miss her already. She showed me and countless others what it means to care for those that need a lift.
