Pawel Andreev, 69, of Sioux Falls, SD and formerly of Howell, NJ and Redwood City, CA passed away March 24, 2023. Pawel was born in Philadelphia, PA on December 14, 1953. He graduated from Howell High School and attended Rutgers University.
Pawel was best known for his great sense of humor and generosity. He loved to sing karaoke and never missed an opportunity to get up on a stage to sing. His kind and child-like spirit was infectious to all.
Pawel was predeceased by his parents, David and Maria Andreev and 4 siblings, Roschin Andreev, Lidjima Young, Naran Laneve and Nadja Andreev. Surviving are his siblings, Ulanki Arbakow, Velo Andreev, Baljer “Barry” Andreev, Sandjerma Andreev Francis and Sara Andreev Rugo; his nieces, Darma, Zanda, Melissa, Laurie, Tina and Breckon; his nephew, Nemo; and his grand-nephews, David and Cruz. Also surviving are his loved ones in Sioux Falls, Lisa O. King, Karma Jade, Amanda and Everly.

All passing are sad. However, some are more personal than others. Pawel was my closest friend growing up. Our back yards abutted. There was about a ten foot section of fence that connected the yards. A slight hop and you were over. Visiting the Andreevs was always a pleasure. Mom followed a Kalmyk custom that visitors should always be fed. If nothing else (say I was borrowing an egg), this involved the most amazing rye bread heated and layered with sweet butter. Quite common was...

Pawel will be missed by me and all his loved ones. He was like a big kid himself whenever he was with the younger kids. He played with them and interacted with all of them having fun.
