Penelope Stevens Obituary

Penelope Stevens (Kemmerling) of Niceville, FL, died at home after a brief battle with cancer on February 13, 2016. Born in Chicago, IL on November 14th, 1939, and known by those who loved her as beautiful and fun, Penny loved the beach, travelling, new adventures, her dear friends, and her family.
Twice widowed, Penny was preceded in death by her husbands Carl Franke & Robert Stevens; her parents John & Elouise Kemmerling; her brother Jack Kemmerling; and her granddaughter Kara Bromer.
She is survived by her brother Ray Kemmerling (Betsy) and sister in law (Sandy); her children Sue Murphy (Tracy); Pat Gascon (Al); Laura Moss (Todd); Mike Bromer (Kathy); and their father Mike Bromer; her grand-children Molly Bernish (Andrew), Morgan, Abby & Jerry Murphy; John & Emily Bolton; Ryan & Kate Moss; Stephanie, Tyler & Renee' Bromer; her great granddaughter Penelope Bernish; nieces and nephews; and her dear friend, Mark Jernigan.
A memorial mass will be celebrated on Saturday, March 5th at 1:00 pm at Christ Our Redeemer Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at fundraising.stjude.org in honor of Penelope Stevens.
