I LOVED PENNY. SO FULL OF LIFE AND ENERGY!! I WAITED ON HER AT MACEY'S FOR YEARS AND SHE WAS ALWAYS GOING FOR THE BEST DEAL. SHE LOVED HER FAMILY. SO SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS. LOVE, MARY ANN ALEXANDER

Condolences to the family and friends of Mrs. Penny. May the God of Creation give you peace and strength during this time of grief.

Tom, Pam and Carrie,
So sorry to learn of the passing of your mother. Sounds like a beautiful woman. Much love to you all.

I met Penny probably in 1974. She helped me get more than one job because of her caring personality, and her connections throughout the service industry.
She was a good friend, always a joy to be around, and if she befriended you, she always cared for you and made you feel special.
I remember walking into the Holiday Inn, and seeing her after I had left Bozeman for Whitefish and Spokane and I had not seen her for a number of years. Her greeting to me made me feel like I had never left...

Penny was so kind to me back in 1962 when I was a newlywed with my husband still in school far away. Such a special soul RIP0

I am so sorry to hear that Penny is gone. I met her in 1966, and considered her a friend, from then on. I left Bozeman and returned then left, again, but Penny was always the same, warm and caring person, every time I saw her. This world will not be the same without her.

I am still in shock and utter disbelief...Why did I make it a point to pick up the Chronicle on my way home yesterday? You all know how much Penny meant to me, Dan, Danica, and everyone she ever befriended. She's been my counsel, my friend, and my confidant for the past 43 years at least. I've watched her light up the room with her smile, raise herself up from negative situations and always, always been a shoulder to share my highs and lows. She is a family member of ours and will remain in...

Dear Carrie and Pam, so sorry for your loss. I didn't know your mom, but she has a beautiful smile and sounds like she was a great mom to you girls. Peace. xo Cara
