Donna and I were saddened to hear of Perry's passing last Sunday. I remember playing bridge against you and Perry, especially on Tuesday afternoons. I missed seeing him when he was unable to continue to play competitive bridge.

Reading the Gainesville Sun obituary, I was surprised to discover that Perry was born in Cleveland, Ohio. Donna and I were born in separate small communities near Oberlin, Ohio, about 40 miles west of Cleveland. Like Perry, I am a graduate of...
