Pete B. "Tennessee" Maxwell

I found a poem that Pete recited to me back in 1999. I believe he wrote it before then, but he had me write it down one day when I asked him if I could have one of his poems published in a magazine I have had many of my poems published in, "Country Folk Magazine" just his style of writting I might add. Daddy I got to spend alot of time with you these last couple of years, and I am so glad I did.I never thought I would ever have to shave you but I got pretty good at it there at the end. I'll take care of momma like you wanted, I miss you, Your loving daughter, Brenda

MY thoughts and preyers go out to the family for the loss of a love one.He will always be remembered know matter what.

My thoughts and prayers are with all the Maxwell's. I will always remember Pete's stories of the war and his many other stories & Poems. Most dear to my heart was his pet name for me 'Rubarb Sally'.
