I fondly remember my years working for Peter at Thayer Pharmacies.
Peter taught me a lot regarding family, business and friendship. His family was always most important to him. He will be missed.

Dear Lorraine,
I just returned home from vacation, and learned of Peter's death. How sad I feel at his passing. Peter was a wonderful, caring guy, with a mission in life to help others. Always there for everyone, especially Sal and the long term patiente at NE Sinai. He was a blessing for so many. His fun- loving spirit will be in my heart forever.
As you grieve his loss, may fond memories bring a smile to your heart.

Dear Lorraine and family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you. Peter's service was so beautiful and so appropriate. Santa's Shop will never be the same! Peter could be gruff at times, but he had a heart of gold and was one of the most caring and generous people I know. He truly loved his family and friends.

Kelley, Lorraine, and Jen,
To lose the existence of someone in our everyday presence is daunting. My deepest sympathies. Peter lived a life full of family and friends. And there is no greater treasure to the remembrance of his life then the each of you. As your friend catching glimpse of his life, the love and bond among all of you is so beautiful. And something to always treasure.

For ten years my friend, Peter was always there for me - even when I didn't realize that I needed him. In his own words he was my "Guardian Angel". I am honored to have known him and to have been called his friend.

Every once in a great while, a person comes into your life who makes a great difference and changes your life forever. I recognized from an early age that "Uncle Peter" was one of those people. It's 35 years since this beautiful man entered my life. I can say that he was the role model of a family man that I needed as a youth. It is no surprise that his daughters are amazing, lovely women. I admired how you respected them and how you loved them. Your sarcasm and lively wit kept me on my toes and kept me thinking of you long after our visit was over; I knew that with it came a warmth and caring that was sincere and truly rare. As a boy and as a man, you called me "honey" and "sweetie". A few years ago, I told you that you were the only man that I was okay with calling me those terms of endearment. I'll always remember you running down Pine Needle Lane with a Roman candle in your hand on the 4th of July, you finishing our crust at the local pizza place, whiffle ball games with the family, running through the sprinkler in our front yard (with my swim cap on), your intelligence, and your professionalism that I observed when you came into the Thayer Pharmacy that I worked at. Most of all, I'll remember your smile and your laugh and how you made those around you smile and laugh. Really, what's better than that in life? Thank you, Uncle Peter, for making a difference in my life in so many positive ways. As a father of two young boys, I know your influence has contributed to my being a family man, and that, ultimately, has made a great difference in my sons' lives.

We just heard the sad news of Peter's passing...he will be surely missed. He was a very special guy and we will never forget the good times we shared.

Peter made our living in Sharon very interesting. We haven't seen Peter in many years, but have never forgotten the way he made us laugh. Very sad to hear of his passing.

Our sympathies to Peter's family and friends. When we were kids, we enjoyed Pete's quick wit, kind heart, and funny view of the world. When we were all "grown up," we were fortunate to see Peter at his weekly visits to our mutual friend, Salvie Grasso. He was the same old Pete-full of fun. The same Pete, whose kind and generous heart inspired us all. Pete, you were a good man and your presence in the world will be missed.

Whether at my business, or at First Encounter Beach, it was always a pleasure to see and talk to the always happy and outgoing Peter. It gave a happy start to my day. He will be sorely missed.

We are so moved by the special family you have and the amazing relationship all of you had with Peter. One thing is for certain: his heart was as big as the ocean and he will always be a kind and loving soul.
All true love is rare -- that's what makes it precious. It involves the revelation of one's self and the acceptance of another's true self.
Peter was his "true self" no matter what! You always knew what he was thinking!

Peter this was much to soon you always had the right advice for me when I needed it. I could call you anytime and youd make time for me at the spur of the moment. You watched me go from a 16 year old punk kid to a married father of 3, supporting me the whole time. I am honored to have called you my friend and ill miss your 7 a.m. appointments when I dont even open till 8 a.m.
