My father Jack Ward enjoyed working with Pete at KSU for many years. They continued their friendship after they both retired in 1985. My Dad valued Pete's friendship greatly, and enjoyed meeting him for Lunch or Breakfast. Pete also visited my Dad when Dad was in assisted living. I last saw Pete at my father's service when with a tear in his eye he told me that he was going to miss my Dad.
