Not sure what to say?

Steve, I just recently learned of Pete's passing and was saddened by the news. I'm very sorry that due to the timing I wasn't able to pay my respects in person. Pete always had a smile and kind words for everyone who knew him. He was a great son, brother, father and friend. He was a good man and he is certainly missed. My sincere condolences go out to you and your family. Take care and my best to you and yours. Pete

Although there are many fine qualities Peter will be remembered for, the ones that springs to my mind centered around our days together on the football field at Holy Cross High School. The Athas family will be in our prayers during this sad time. May God give you all comfort and strength.

My prayers include Pete's intentions, and my condolences to Pete's family. When Pete was leading the way winning the football conference Title, I was a Freshman playing the same position in the same program. He made quite an impression. More importantly, he seemed like a nice guy in conversation. God Bless Pete. Looking forward to a reunion in Heaven. Lou Storto

Lisa, Terry, Sue, Steve, Pete's family and loving friends, we're so sorry to hear of the loss of Pete. We are sure he will be missed. You are all in our thoughts and prayers. Donna and Tom Poulos

Condolences, thoughts and prayers for the Athas Family. Sorry I could not be there in person. Will always have great memories from the old neighborhood and our school days together. Rest in peace brother.

Wow so sorry to see this, I knew Pete many years ago. I will keep him in my prayers.

Oh my God.... so sorry to hear of Pete's passing. Wishing Thea Litsa, Aaron, Ian, Steve, Terry and Susan and family lots of courage, strength and prayers during this most difficult time. Miss those days of All growing up together. David and Evelyn (Kounellas), Katerina and John Schneider
