Not sure what to say?

In spite of all the people I've met over the years (and I'm 80 now), Pete is still right up there as one of those whom I admire and hold as someone to emulate. I still remember how he kept his cool under pressure, inspired with his words and actions, and enjoyed life. He even enjoyed pitching pennies in the office with members of his staff from time to time. I still have the pennies he won from me - and gave back in a gift box when I transferred to another office. Great man. I never met...

Pete's still in my memories and I actually held one of his business cards in my hands yesterday as I checked through items I gad saved. He was definitely a positive influence in my life, and I cherish that.

Pete was - and still is - one of my most admired leaders and mentors who inspired me in Utica and while working for him at the Home Office. While I've been retired for several years now, he's still in my mind as someone to emulate. I also believe that, if we had ever played golf together, he would have taken my pennies then as he did when I worked for him back in Utica. Rest in peace good friend.

Dear Marie and family:
Sorry to hear about Pete's passing. He was a wonderful man. He (and my dad) put me on he road to financial independence back in 1968 when I purchased a JH life insurance policy at age 19. The policy is still active 44 years later. I will always remember those Christmas eve feasts at your home and, of course, Marie's delicious seven fish dishes!

Dear Marie:
I just learned about Pete's passing. Please accept my condolences. Pete was my District Manager while I was an office supervisor trainee in Utica. He inspired me, and I always looked up to him as a mentor, leader, and a wonderful human being. We used to pitch pennies in the Utica office, and he presented me with his winnings ($2.87 in a box) when I was promoted to another office. I still have them. We met again when we both worked in the home office, and I was honored...

Marie Carbone,
I remember you and Pete very fondly from our association at John Hancock in Boston. I was part of the staff of the old District Agency department and I always enjoyed being in Pete's company. One of the things that I remeber is that he rearely mixed business with pleasure. If we were at a cocktail party or company diner, he preferred to talk about family, swap stories about "the old days" and tell a few jokes. He was a delightful man with a wonderful laugh and I am very...

Marie; Marilyn and I were so sad to hear that Pete passed away. We have so many fond memories of all the wonderful times we had with you and Pete during the John Hancock years. He had a wonderful life and contibuted so much to so many during his years at John Hancock. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. John and Marilyn White

We are so sorry to read of Pete's passing. How well we remember the Carbone family on Melrose Avenue in Albany, NY. Love to all from us and to Patty from Cathy Paul

I met Pete a few times on the golf course due to our common friend Bob Stein.
It was a pleasure knowing him and I was very saddened by the news.
Please accept my condoleances and pray to G-d for him to rest in peace.
