Not sure what to say?

To know the powerful memories you hold of my father, to remember and recognize what he gave, keeps that memory eternal of how lives were changed for good. I am forever grateful for your sentiments and would love to hear more of your memories of his beloved decades at the Boys Club and Camp Thacher. He is truly honored. RIP, Dad.

RIP Pete. Being Sin's son, I Knew Pete from a very young age. He scared me when I was little because he was a big muscular guy, and he was loud. But he taught me how to swim. I can still hear him calling "Buddies, one two , and three, now let's hold it" at the waterfront. Camp Thatcher Days were the best, and Pete was a huge part of that.

I’m sorry to hear about Pete Christopher passing. He was a good man and helped many Albany boys.

Mr. Pete Christopher and my farther Morris Morton were good friends and I am grateful for their friendship, through their friendship I learned a great deal about life from Pete while attending the boys club in Albany and Camp Thatcher during summers, Pete thought me the importance of and how to respect and treat others. Thank you paratrooper.

Beaver Street Boys Club was a home away from home. Pete Christopher and Sing seemed forever present. God knows the number (many of them South End kids) who were positively influenced by these inspirational leaders.
One day, Pete hustled 6 or 7 in a station wagon, drove us to Kingston after their group challenged him to a basketball game. Though basketball wasn't Pete's main strength, I can't remember him being so relaxed and cheerful. He picked the right team. John DonVito and myself...

Offering my condolences to the family and friends of Mr.Pete Christopher.Growing up in Albany,The Club and Camp Thacher were two positive influences in my life.Mr.Christopher was a big part of that.He always told me what I needed to hear,Not what I wanted to hear.So grateful that our paths crossed in life.Rest In Peace.

He was a fair and great leader of the Albany Boys Club. Rest in peace.

GOD BLESS

Tribute to Pete Christopher.

To the Family of Pete Christopher,

Mere words can not even begin to describe the affinity and love I will always carry within me for Pete Christopher, and also Fred Schroeder, Al(Sing) Singleman, and Peter Delillo.

These giants of men were the heart and soul of the Albany Boy's Clubs experience.

Through their brilliance in structuring the daily life at the club they laid the foundation for successful growth into adulthood for each of us.

Many of us today look back...

TO THE CHRISTOPHER FAMILY,SO SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT PETER PASSING,MAY HE R.I.P.
