On the 1st aniv of Peter's assentation into heaven I remember a great friend and neighbor.

Hi Paula, PJ and Lisa, Just thought I would let you know thinking of you and Peter. I wanted to let you know that the work your husband/father did at the State Police in the area of forensics continues to have an impact. In 2002 I reworked a case Peter did in Bedford Ma. He recovered a fingerprint in a Homicide in 1971. In 2002, We searched the state AFIS but did not identify anyone. We then searched the FBI and got a hit. I remember Peter well.
I grew up on Brier rd and always played on Maplewood when we were younger. I grew up with the Mulroys and Phalans.
My prayers and thoughts are with you.❤

I was fortunate to know and serve with Peter for a great many years. He was always the cool, level-headed guy - quick with a smile and mischievous wink. I only saw him blow up once in my 14 years of serving with him. Quite unusual for an Irishman and cop and a soldier. He was always there with an outstretched hand if you fell down or patted you on the back or say a kind word if you needed it. He mentored. He taught. He helped you grow as a soldier.
