Not sure what to say?

We found out tonight that Peter had passed earlier this year. We have been patrons of the House of Prime Rib in San Francisco for over 30 years. Peter was a warm and professional presence at HPR. He was our go-to bartender and always made us feel welcome. We knew how much he loved his house in Oakland. What a great guy. We have missed him on our recent trips and tonight we had the nerve to ask after Peter...and heard about his passing. We shared a toast to him. As long as we live here...

I just found out today of Peter's passing today.

No finer gentleman will I ever meet.

May God Bless Him and His Family!

It was a great privilege to work with Peter and call him my friend. He was a very gentle soul how loved his work. This is a sad day as I learned of his passing. I pray that our Heavenly Father welcomes Peter home.

Pete Donahue. I will always remember as a man with good character. Surely he is missed by many.

I remember Peter when I went to Nancy Lorenzen's house and we would walk over to visit with the family. I visited Peter twice when I was out in California. He loved talking about New Paltz and all of our friends etc. He will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Prayers and sympathy to the family, especially to Pete's sister Kathie, my classmate at NPHS. I have fond memories of the Donahue family--a warm, friendly part of the New Paltz community. So sorry for your loss.

I was in cute and wonderful Pete's class until my family moved from New Paltz to Florida in '68. He was well known to be a great guy, and true Huguenot! God love you Peter. I'm honored to have shared a part of your life.

Please accept our sincere condolences for your loss.
