Not sure what to say?

On 9/18/2024 Winchester High School class of 1964 had our 60th class reunion. Pete (and Helen) was very much missed. Hope all is well with the Fahey clan and that happy memories of Pete bring you continued joy in the holiday season and always.

A Great Dartmouthman! Alan A. Rozycki, MD Dartmouth 1961

Condolences to the entire Fahey Family. Mr. Fahey left an indelible impression on me from the first time I had the serendipity of meeting him in the basement of Theta Delt. To a young and naive college student like me, it just felt different being in his presence. He was wise, authentic, thoughtful, sincere and had a wit and sense of humor that was uniquely his. He was so humble and a servant leader that inspires me to this day. He would kid about his ephemeral Dartmouth basketball career but...

I am shocked to learn that Peter has passed away. He had such a strong personality and undeniable presence- it is hard to think that he is gone. I first met Peter at Dartmouth when he joined Phi Delta Alpha fraternity. He was definitely a fan of rock and roll music, especially Elvis. One slow Saturday night, a group of Phi Delts chipped for a keg and we were listening to the juke box in the Phi Palace basement. Peter started talking about Elvis and I mentioned that I had several of his...

I knew Pete from freshman basketball at Dartmouth. Many years later, when he was a trustee, he and I communicated about an idea I had for the newly proposed residential house groupings at the College. Though we didn't see each other often, each time we did, Peter never failed to mention my idea and his support for it, as well as his recollections of my jump shot. At our 50th Reunion, I was chatting with a very pleasant woman at a gathering at the Ravine Lodge when the subject of Pete came up....

As a former high school classmate, I have fond memories of good times with Pete and our crew of those days. After going in different directions after graduation, I enjoyed seeing Peter at a few Winchester High School class reunions. Always a fun guy to be around. I don´t expect you to remember me, Helen, but I´m the guy known as "Skinny". I recall that Pete loved Elvis Presley, I hope his music is played at the memorial service. Sincere condolences. Paul Crotty, Winchester High School class...

Jackie and I extend our deepest condolences to Helen and all of Peter´s family. It is hard to believe that so vibrant a man, so full of life and laughter, is gone. I will remember all our work together for our class and for Dartmouth, all the vertical feet skied, and - most fondly of all - that little black book and all those jokes. I never met a man who enjoyed his own jokes more than Peter did. And I never met anyone who knew him who didn´t enjoy his company just as much. Rest easy, my...

I knew Peter from when I worked at Goldman. My fondest memory is when we all attended a Christmas party. I was dancing with him and he called me by name which surprised me. I told him that I didn't know he knew my name and he said "of course I do." I was a secretary and he was a Partner. He was so kind and easy to talk to. I'm very sad to learn of his passing. My deepest condolences to his family.

As a classmate and friend, I express condolences to Peter's family. Peter was a kind, compassionate, intelligent, joyful presence among all who knew him. We will all sorely miss him, being grateful for his efforts and devotion to the many things about which he deeply cared.
