Peter Fong Obituary

Peter P. Fong Peter peacefully passed away on Sept. 13, 2010 after a long battle with cancer. He was born Oct. 3, 1928 in Canton, China. He served in the U.S. Army and worked his lifetime as a restaurateur. Peter was preceded in death by his parents Stephen and Laura Fong, and his wife and mother of his children, Frances (Lui) Fong. He is survived by his loving children Angela (Steve Toy), Bayard (Rosa) Fong, Cindy (Joe Fong) and seven grandchildren, brother Bill (May), Lil (Cal Lum), Betty Fong, along with nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Peter's service will be held at the Green Street Mortuary (649 Green St @ Columbus) in San Francisco, Sunday, Sept. 19 from 4-5pm (viewing) and Monday, Sept. 20 at 12 noon (service) with internment at Greenlawn Cemetery in Colma.
