Peter K. Fryer

Peter Fryer will always be remembered by many international students as a friend. When I arrived in the U.S. to start my graduate studies at UConn I encountered culture shock and a language barrier. I was told to contact Peter, as he was actively tutoring international students, helping correct pronunciation and explaining American slang. Peter became a good friend during my graduate years at UConn. I will always remember him fondly.

One thing about Pete, he was always upbeat, in a good mood & always had something good to say about everyone. I'll miss seeing him at the car shows & so on. My sympathy goes out to his family.

My deepest sympathy and heartfelt condolences to you all. Pete and I shared many great times together over the years. We went to many cruises and shows together, he even let me drive his '62 Comet to the N.E. Summer Nationals one year. Thanks buddy, that was quite the experience. I can't forget all the spaghetti dinners we went to at the Franklin VFW. They always had to make extra when we were there.
