Peter C. Heikes

This came across my email today as a remembrance of your passing. You were such a wonderful friend and made my time in MinnesotaA much better place. I hope after all this time your family is all doing well and remembering their good times with you.

I was so sorry to hear of Peter's passing. Peter was such a good guy to be around when I was able to see him. I wish all the family comfort as they deal with his passing.

Peter always had time to mentor young writers and help the local STC group with its finances, its leadership, and its general health and well-being. His great sense of humor and gentle leadership style helped us all. May his family be comforted by memories of his lifetime.

I was very sorry to hear of Peter's passing. I confess I did not know him well personally, but I will certainly always remember and be grateful for his many contributions to the STC. We are all very fortunate to have been part of his life and he will be missed.

It seems it wasn't long ago that my friend Linda was saying goodbye to your niece Michelle and now you have lost your husband, too. I am so sorry you have to go through this.

I grew up with Peter who was one of my favorite cousins. Such a gentle spirit. May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.
