Peter always had time to mentor young writers and help the local STC group with its finances, its leadership, and its general health and well-being. His great sense of humor and gentle leadership style helped us all. May his family be comforted by memories of his lifetime.

I was very sorry to hear of Peter's passing. I confess I did not know him well personally, but I will certainly always remember and be grateful for his many contributions to the STC. We are all very fortunate to have been part of his life and he will be missed.

It seems it wasn't long ago that my friend Linda was saying goodbye to your niece Michelle and now you have lost your husband, too. I am so sorry you have to go through this.

I worked with Peter for many years - many years ago at Unisys. Too many people are leaving us far too early. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Peter was a warm, thoughtful, and hard-working guy and a great technical writer. He was always very professional and well liked by many of his peers at EDS and at STC. Peter will be greatly missed.~ Cynthia Keller

It's always sad to learn of old friends passing on. I am very sorry to hear of your loss. I worked with Pete at Unisys in Tech Pubs back in the late 80s and 90s. He was a nice guy with lots of energy. He was much too young.

I worked with Pete in the 1980s, when we were both editors in the Sperry Technical Pubs department. He was a good man, and I'm sorry to hear of his struggle and your loss.

Sharon: My thoughts and prayers are with you. He was so young. Same age as my brother who is also battling cancer. But, now with God, he sees all and knows all that is going on in the family and has no pain. What a blessing for him. ((BIG HUG!)) for you.

Sad news about Peter. I will always remember his easy laugh, razor sharp wit, and great organization skills. Peter was a real innovator, and was among the first to set up a CaringBridge page and harness the power of the Web to communicate to friends and family about his illness. Even facing such challenges, he managed to stay connected--a true technical communicator to the end! May you rest in peace, Peter.
