Mary, I just found out about Peter's passing into the pearly gates of Heaven. I got an email through the SASO today. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and all the extensive family. My deepest sympathy for the Hollimon Family... Dr. Hollimon literally saved my life 6 years ago after performing an appendectomy on me. While anxiously waiting 34 days to be discharged from N.E. Baptist he was very attentative and had exceptional bedside manner. I thank the Lord for Dr. Peter Hollimon being the surgeon on duty the day I was admitted. Once I saw his picture on the wall I knew I was in great hands. Rest In Peace. Once again, My deepest condolences....... Greg Coles

Pete,Chuck,and I,(Bob Mabe) grew up together and shared many adventures together with our dads.When i was shot while deer hunting in South Texas my family immediately called Pete to operate on me.After surgery and other procedures, i pulled through and was forever grateful to DOC. I thought about him often and was able to see him at his mom's funeral in March.He was always quick to laugh and was always personable.I owe him my life and I will always have a special place in my heart for Pete

In addition to being an excellent surgeon, Dr. Hollimon was a caring
and kind person. He was selfless in serving his patients. I am sad to
