Just learned of Peters passing (23 August 2021), along with his loving family, we who were fortunate to have known this generous wonderful man, we are saddened with his passing. He was a man who loved family and friends. I was treated like a son growing up, having many happy times with all. Spending summers at the lake and working for a dollar an hour and all you can eat, he would say. Best friends with my dad, I only knew them as Uncle Pete and Aunt Lil. He helped shape my life and was there when my parents passed away. We are all feeling a great loss in our lives, but memories will keep him and Aunt Lil alive in our hearts forever. Peter King, like his brothers, was a hardworking, kind and thoughtful person who loved his extended family and enjoyed his many friendships. He had an uncanny ability to understand and appreciate people from all walks of life. He was simply a nice man.
