My memory of Pete, I was a young (very young officer) I remember one of the first times in uniform working of all things a parade. He came up to me and introduced himself and from that moment on we were friends and partners working west Fitchburg and Cleghorn. He was a mentor to me and taught me how to be an effective officer.
