I remember meeting Pete for the first time standing with the 1th Gamma Chi pledge class. Talk about Irish, he was a bit intimidating but I soon found Pete to be an upright and outstanding "Brother." My prayers and condolences to you, Kathy and family.

If you are a friend of Pete Lang, you surely know that he was a loyal friend and that you were chosen for your integrity and good will, characters similar to Pete's. I was not his friend; he was a man's man. Pete softened toward me, though, during the last number of years, likely because I made such a pest of myself checking in on him after this or that surgery while Kathy was still working.
