Not sure what to say?

My sincere condolences to Mr. Peter Lerner´s family and friends. He was my 7th grade Social Studies teacher and was exceptionally brilliant as well as friendly with students. I´ve often thought of him thru the years as I was Bronx born and raised. Sincere Condolences and May he Rest In Peace..

I miss Pete EVERY day- - and when I need advice or deal with a problem, I miss him even more!!

I miss Peter EVERY day- -we were BUDDIES since 18 yrs old, played baseball together thru college, ultimately wound up working together for 18 yrs, learned to play golf together, and he was my skiing "guide". My love, aqnd warmest wishes to his family.

So many people have wonderful memories of you. Everyone will miss you, me especially. Rest in peace. You were a wonderful, thoughtful, loyal friend and ally. With all my Love.

Peter was loved by so many. He was always up for an activity - golf, skiing, hot tub. He was, indeed, such a gift to all of us with his wonderful sense of humor and love of his own stories, jokes and poems. We will miss him (and I will miss his skiing tips and encouragement on the slopes. ).
Much love, Laura and Peter

We enjoyed more than 50 years of friendship with the warmest, kindest fun loving person.
We feel so fortunate to have had that time together.

Even though our relationship was intermittent, the sense of family remained. I never wavered in my love and admiration for Peter. Apart from his being the best father a child could have, Peter was warm, loving, compassionate, intelligent and witty. My heart is emptier with his loss.

It was always a pleasure to be in your company. Your wit, you intelligence, and your warmth through our college years and beyond were things I always looked forward to. Condolences to the family. Rest in peace, dear friend.
