Peter was loved by so many. He was always up for an activity - golf, skiing, hot tub. He was, indeed, such a gift to all of us with his wonderful sense of humor and love of his own stories, jokes and poems. We will miss him (and I will miss his skiing tips and encouragement on the slopes. ).
Much love, Laura and Peter

We enjoyed more than 50 years of friendship with the warmest, kindest fun loving person.
We feel so fortunate to have had that time together.

Even though our relationship was intermittent, the sense of family remained. I never wavered in my love and admiration for Peter. Apart from his being the best father a child could have, Peter was warm, loving, compassionate, intelligent and witty. My heart is emptier with his loss.

Peter was a warm, considerate, loving man, who cared for family and friends alike. He was always welcoming when we would visit him and Aunt JoAnn in Windham. He would make us feel right at home and we loved our conversations on so many different topics. He had a sense of humor that we will miss terribly, especially his Trump Poems. They made us smile when we were so sad about the state of our nation. Peter you are now in a better place and even though we will miss you terribly, you will always be in our hearts. May you rest in peace.
Love always,
Jeff Urbancic

We will all miss you Peter. I will miss our conversations on sports,, politics, and "current events". I will especially miss the Trump poems. I may have to take up the pen in your honor. You had a great run, and are truly inspirational.

My uncle Peter, You may be gone but the memories remain. Living in the same building on Crotona Park East. Your Wednesday evening dinner visits for spaghetti and meatballs because my mom made it and grandma did not. You teaching Nan and I to cha cha; scaring us with a sheet over your head; having us stand at attention while you inspected our ears then saying at ease after your army stint. You were well loved by us all. You will be sorely missed. I'm forever grateful for the memories I have. I wish peace and comfort to your beloved daughter Jessica and her husband, Dan, your adored grandkids who you were so proud of, Tess and Eli, and your treasured partner and companion of many years, JoAnn

My darling Peter--You are gone but I will have you in my heart forever. I will always love you. My only consolation is that you had a good life, a long life, a successful life, a happy life. May we all have that blessing.
With all my love, forever and ever, JoAnn.
Whenever you want me, just yell the way you always have for 44 years: "Jo" or "Piazzi" or just "Hey, kid."
