I worked with "Pete" at B&W for many years, from when I started and he was my graphics drawing checker in 1972 in BA&DG. We worked near each other as PTRs in Technology in 1992 for a while. He was an encourager, mentor, and friend. I enjoyed the stories of playing chess as a boy and different parts of life in the Ukraine, so many years earlier. We played chess at lunch, along with others. He won no matter which of his chess piese(s) he would remove prior to the start of the game. B&W lost...
