I worked with "Pete" at B&W for many years, from when I started and he was my graphics drawing checker in 1972 in BA&DG. We worked near each other as PTRs in Technology in 1992 for a while. He was an encourager, mentor, and friend. I enjoyed the stories of playing chess as a boy and different parts of life in the Ukraine, so many years earlier. We played chess at lunch, along with others. He won no matter which of his chess piese(s) he would remove prior to the start of the game. B&W lost much boiler knowledge when he retired. I have missed him since he left B&W; we met for lunch a few times; and I saw him at the bank a few times. He was always positive, with a wish that we are all well, and seemed pleased with the life he lived.
I wish all his family God's peace and contentment as he would not wish us to mourn in pain for a long time. His positive outlook must have been much due to his loving and caring family. It was very good that I had some time to know him.
