When the great men of this world leave us, it takes a piece of all of us, deeply wounded in his passing, who had the true life advantage of their guidance and example. In about 1961, friends at St. George Church told us that, if we wanted new vinyl tile on our floor at 635 Kimball, we should hire Ray Soroko. We did. Ray brought along a helper, young Pete Meisner. We were friends ever since.
