Not sure what to say?

Peter was beyond memorable in my life. When I fjust recently found out he had died, I had to write a story to assuage my grief and to honor his role in my life. I met him on my first job as an apprentice electrician at the Wausau Hospital in 1978-79. Pete, you left us to soon. You were always the life of the party. Thanks for being such a good friend. Your presence and smile were always a great addition to our class reunions. Rest in peace Pete.

Lillian and Joseph: I am sorry for your loss. Your brothers light was bright for many years.

The expression that keeps going through my mind is "not just a great guy, but a great man". The world lost a tremendous person yesterday.

Uncle Pete was an engaged uncle for my entire life - that cool uncle you looked up to. He came to all the family events in Wisconsin - Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas and was always ready with a wry joke or some tease or another. I liked that when I would visit my folks in Stevens Point he would come by or invite us over to visit at his log cabin home in Oxford. He was cherished and will be missed.
