Not sure what to say?

If not my favorite teacher of all time, he was close to it. My DECA teacher in Yuma, at Kofa High School in 1976-1977. He and I would play basketball in the gym after school. He had that sweet left handed shot. I miss you Mr. S.

My name is Peter Schwiebert too. I live in San Jose but work for Microchip in Chandler. A few weeks ago, during a big get together in HQ, one of Peter's students hunted me down to talk about how wonderful he was. I'm proud to carry his name and mine. I hope to live up to his example but it's a high bar from what I have learned.

Wow, Mr. Schwiebert left us so suddenly and people took this very hard, but he was a good guy, alot of people appericated him for the guy he was. I just wanted to wish his family the best of luck and my prays are with you.

I just heard of Peter's passing over the weekend. What a huge loss. I am so sorry for his family who must grieving terribly. Know that you are in my thoughts and prayers as you try and get through this extremely difficult time.

I was a student of Mr. Schwiebert's way back in 80-82. I have kept in touch with him since graduation. Just had lunch with him in May with two other of his students from my time. I am so sorry for the families loss. Mr. Schwiebert (in which he laughed at that I still called him that), had the highest respect from me and so many others. He made my high school years enjoyable which was a true blessing as I really did not like school. Please know Ehren, Andy and his entire family are in my...

I can't begin to say how sorry I am that the world is without such great man. I never had a class with Mr. Schwiebert, but he always had kind words and good advice to share with all the students at Greenway. Years after high school, as I was beginning my career in education, he was there to lend good advice and a kind ear. He will be missed. My prayers go out to all his family.

I have been so blessed to have worked with Peter for the 6 years I have been at Greenway. His humor was always a bright spot in my day. He worked tirelessly in the Anti-Defamation Peer Training and Unitown programs and lived those ideals in his personal life. He spoke often of his love for his wife and children and we argued often about whose grandchildren were the best looking. I know "Bumpa" will be missed greatly. How he loved his grandchildren. To his family, please accept my most...

My prayers are with the family as they mourn the loss of a father, brother, son, husband and friend. Memories are a beautiful blesseng God gives us to hold on to forever. Mr. Schwieberts words to encourage me with my son were unforgetable. He was always available and willing if I had a question or my son needed to talk to him. He was also an inspiration for my son in DECA, Bowling and as a Counselor. A part of him will always be in all those who he touched hopefully to carry on to their...

It was with great sadness that I learned of Mr. Schwiebert's death. I graduated from Greenway in '90, and had Marketing and Merchandising with him. He emulated everything that a high school teacher should be: warm, compassionate, caring and dedicated. My daughter is now a freshman at Greenway, and I had wished she had him as a counselor, but that was not to be. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family--I went to school with Ehren (although I was older) and I graduated with Chris. I feel...
