Not sure what to say?

Peter was not known to me, except through his father, with whom I worked 23 years, and his mother Helen, my friend. Somehow I feel I knew him well. My prayers for peace and comfort for those he leaves,
May God bless and keep you in His love.
Sincerely,
Sybil Austin Skakle

Peter was my madrich (counselor) on Year Course. At the tender age of 18, it was a gift to have Peter as a counselor. He was a model for listening, caring, laughter, and how to make decisions.
My deepest sympathy to Peter's family and friends. He will be in my heart forever.

Our children lost a good friend and our friend lost a wonderful child.

My deepest condolences to Helen and Sue, Jesse and Cory.
I remember Peter has a loving, caring person . He will be mised by countless people in the Durham-Chapel hill area.
love to you all.

Peter was friends with my older sister, Amy. So many of my childhood memories are of Peter Stahl hanging out at our house. Peter seemed to me then like a larger than life character. I remember thinking when I was around 6 years old that I hoped to someday be as cool as he was. I regret not having had the opportunity to get to know him as an adult. My thoughts are with the entire family during this unimaginably difficult time.

I lost the best friend I ever had.

Everyone who ever had the opportunity to meet Peter now feels a tremendous void. He was an amazing person and will be missed by all.

Helen, Sue, Cory and Jessie our love and thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Sue - I met Peter only a few times including at your wedding, but your mother spoke of him often throughout the years. It was evident from her love for Peter that he was a wonderful man. I am so very sorry for you and your boys. May you be comforted by God's love and by your happy memories. My prayers are with you....

Sue, Corey and Jesse - I am so sorry for your loss. Your family will remain in our hearts and prayers at this difficult time.

Sue, although I only knew Pete briefly, it was immediately apparent how thoughtful and kind he was. You, Cory & Jesse are in my prayers and the thoughts of my family, who also were impressed by Pete's spirit.
