Not sure what to say?

Dear Martha and Family: Ever since I met Peter is 1976 at an Iowa tailgate party, I have looked at Pete as an older brother I never had. Pete would come to Iowa football games to see his Brother and My best Friend Phil. Pete would always be happy smiling and supportive. He has been a great roll model and spokesman for Pancreatic cancer, by always carrying himself with dignity thoughtfulness and pride. Peter was a fighter and one of the strongest men I have know. Vanessa and I will miss him...

Martha- I wish I could have been there in person but I was out of town this week. I am so grateful to have spent time with him and wIll miss being one of his his TV co-stars. I look forward to telling you in person, but my thoughts and love are with you and your family.

Martha, my condolences to you and your family. Peter was a special person and so welcoming to me as an adopted member of the San Antonio pancan group! In fond remembrance. Lisa

I was so honored to have met Peter through working with Dr Kahlenberg I loved how he was always ready to lend a helping hand weather it was to speak directly with a patient or help me find support for someone his dedication to the cause and his warm friendly smile and conversations will definitely be missed Peter you have definitely left your imprint on this world my condolences and prayers to his family

Dear Martha,
You may not remember me, I've not been the best attendee at the Cancer Support group at church - but Peter was a huge comfort to me as I started my breast cancer journey. His kind words of advice and positive attitude were a light of hope for both me and my husband. I'll never forget Peter saying to me, "Even in my darkest moments I know that I can reach out my hand and know that God is with me". I held onto those words as I endured my surgery and chemo therapy - and yes, I...

Dear Martha and family,
So sorry other of Peters Passing. We are in Minnesota so I can't attend the services or give you the hugs I want to give. Please know that you are in our prayers and when I return home I will make sure to arrange for Masses for him. He was such a courageous example for all of us. You and your family were such a wonderful support for Peter, and I know you are loved by so many and they will be there for you also. I pray for your peace and comfort in the awareness of...

Dear Martha, David, Sarah, and Molly, Peter was the model for who God created to be the perfect husband, father, grandfather and friend. He was a valiant warrior in his battle against pancreatic cancer, and yet, he didn't let the disease define him. He loved God, family, friends, life and the University of Kansas, in fact, he probably has our Heavenly Father wearing a University of Kansas Jersey. He left everyone he met with a positive impression. His absence will leave a big void in all...
