Dear Martha and Family: Ever since I met Peter is 1976 at an Iowa tailgate party, I have looked at Pete as an older brother I never had. Pete would come to Iowa football games to see his Brother and My best Friend Phil. Pete would always be happy smiling and supportive. He has been a great roll model and spokesman for Pancreatic cancer, by always carrying himself with dignity thoughtfulness and pride. Peter was a fighter and one of the strongest men I have know. Martha- I wish I could have been there in person but I was out of town this week. I am so grateful to have spent time with him and wIll miss being one of his his TV co-stars. I look forward to telling you in person, but my thoughts and love are with you and your family.

I was so honored to have met Peter through working with Dr Kahlenberg I loved how he was always ready to lend a helping hand weather it was to speak directly with a patient or help me find support for someone his dedication to the cause and his warm friendly smile and conversations will definitely be missed Peter you have definitely left your imprint on this world my condolences and prayers to his family
