I've been thinking about Peter these last few weeks and smiling about some of the memories that I have of him. I can't help but laugh when I think about the Thanksgiving Day Parades and his Goofy cap or the many times I was tricked by the answering maching message. Peter was our "go to" guy who knew how to do or fix just about anything. When it came to helping out his friends his answer was always "yes".
While these last months have been tough on all of you, I want you to know that I...

God truly blessed me the day i met Peter Traylor and his family. I smile at the mere thought of him - his smile, his endless energy, his totally generous spirit.
He has been a fine example to me of a truly giving person and I am a much better person having known him.
Gerry, Nikki and Russ, I grieve your loss - such a huge loss. But as I type this and think of you, I realize that you have him in you as your family unit. He will be cheering us on from heaven but he left us...

Peter, We all love you very much. I remember the day you were born and I often took care of you - (thought you were our prescious cute doll baby).
You have such a wonderful mind which I see in all 4 of your loving children. You did a great job rasing your kids with Gerry by your side.
We will always LOVE you very much.

Gerry,
Thank you so much for having me come down to Houston for my final visit with my brother. When we parted I gave him a big huge and he huged back. Neither one of us knew that he would pass away a short 36 hours later. I am so thankful that I got those final days with my little brother.
Nikki and Russell,
Your dad was a unique kid growing up. Since I was the youngest girl I had to grow up with all the boys. Peter was the organizer, fixer and happiest kid of all of us. I see...

My Dad was the most special man I have ever met. He had this thing where he was always so proud of my sister and I that he would exaggerate all of our accomplishments. I'm pretty sure he told some people I could fly. I miss him so much. Thank you everyone for your thoughts and prayers.

Dear Traylor Family-
We did not hear of Peter's passing until last Sunday. We are sorry we missed the service.
I will miss sharing his passion for the game of soccer. As a coach, he made every game a big one for our kids. And, when he was the official in charge of our adult league matches, we knew things would be under control.
Knowing his strength, courage and resourcefulness it was easy to imagine that nothing could take him from this earth.
We will miss him.
