Not sure what to say?

Think of you every day, Pete, especially this time of year when we spent so many hours together on the tractor making hay. I look over the hay waving in my fields and my neighbors and think of you and hold you in my heart.

I was just going through some old hometown photos with a boyhood friend and came across this one of (3rd from left - Pater), me (2nd from left) and others at Camp Tuscarora Boy Scout camp on Operation Snowflake, 1965. My father, Gerald Ansell, MD, and his father were both physicians in the same practice in Binghamton, NY, during the 1960s-1980s. I went to school with his sister, Janet Watrous. It is very sad, quite belatedly, to hear this news about Peter. -- Jon Ansell, [email protected].

The news of Pete's death saddens me greatly. He was my teacher and my mentor and my friend when I was very much in need of a teacher/mentor/friend... I have missed him since he left Knoxville, and am so sorry I will never get a chance to again share thoughts about life with Pete.

Pete you were a very good and wise man i wish we shot trap like we talked about so often may you be at peace whatching over you land

Pete you will always be missed. And never forgotten you were a true friend I cherished. Every day we spent together Was a fun one .all the hunting Trips and rides on the ranger and exspecially the spring turkey hunts ,being around you made me a better person so for that I thank you.
